| We help our clients but improving their search engine visibility by improving their rankings, this is done by preforming both On-site and Off-site SEO which is all white hat. How top ten rankings are possible? There are many factors when it comes to rankings, but SEO is divided into two main parts: On-site SEO and Off-site SEO, both parts are extremely important and one without the other will render the other useless. On-site Once your chosen keywords/keyterms have been chosen then the first part of search engine optimization can begin. Below are just a few on-site factors that will improve your rakings. Keywords – The keywords on your page also have to be optimised correctly and have to appear on certain parts of your pages. URL structure – If your link structure of your site isn’t set out correctly then the search engine spiders will not be able to craw your site and may not be able to reach certain parts of your site and you site will lack in rankings and sales. Sitemaps – These make it possible for the search engines to spider your site and for them to access and see what pages are contained within your site. Without a sitemap some/most of your pages may never be ranked in the search engines and that means to the search engines they will not exist. Off-site Off-site SEO is extremely important when ranking your website, in act around 80% determines where your site ranks. Backlinks Backlink are sites that link to your site and the search engines use the sites that link to you as votes for who they think the best sites are. The search engines believe that if people are linking to you then your site and its content must be good. It is not as simple as just going out there and spamming every site and guestbook that you come across; because as well as your site having links pointing to them the links themselves must be of quality and of relevance to your site. Relevant links -If the search engines pick up your link on a site that is related to your niche than the link is more powerful. High Page Rank – Page rank is a number between 0-10 and is what Google uses to vote on what sites are more important. The higher the page rank of a site the more important the site is in Google’s eyes, so if you can get a link of sites that have higher page rankings, the more powerful the link will be. Anchor Text – This is the text that links your URL to some text, you may have seen some text before that says “click here”, that is anchor text. Your site needs to be optimized with the right keywords/phrases and with the right density for your site to rank higher. Natural Linking building – This is the last three points combines, Google and the search engines want to see natural links, the way that sites would get them if normal people linked them to their sites, the only way to achieve this is to combine the last three rules carefully. No Follow No Follow was put in place to stop spammers spamming any site for a link back to their sites and the way this works is that there is some code in the HTML of a site that tells the search engines if their are any out going links on this page then do not count the anchor text, or page rank rendering the backlink useless. Here is the proof from Goole themselves. |
